Trying out a new camera and showing off a doll that I made in January of 2019.
All pictures were shot during a regular walk in the streets of Belgrade, with no special location hunting involved. The city is full of inspiring corners rich in textures and contrasts, exploring and showing off these scenery fragments hidden in plain sight and displaying them in a new context is one of the reasons I got interested in making dolls in the first place.
The doll's name is Mrgud, which translates to Grumpy. The face is sculpted in Super Sculpey, armor pieces are made from 3mm semi-expanded PVC, boots and gloves are made from EVA foam. He's painted with acrylics.
